Boston’s Week-That-Would’ve-Been – 3/29-4/4

Surveying the weekly live music void in the pandemic age.
Well it’s week three – the longest I’ve gone between shooting shows in years, if not ever – and I’ve been spending my isolation time listening to a totally reasonable amount of King Crimson and Sonic Youth bootlegs. All told, things could be worse on my end, as they are for many people right now, but I can’t deny that watching peak spring concert season dissolve before my eyes stings quite a bit. So, while we all maintain our sanity by live-streaming home performances and diving into back catalogs, I urge you to scope out merch and music links below for some of this week’s orphaned shows around Boston.
Meanwhile, Vanyaland is still maintaining a list of fundraisers for local venues and staff – including newly-launched campaigns for the Sinclair bartenders and Bowery freelance production staff.
