Laura Stevenson played afterHours at Northeastern University – 2/26

Singer/songwriter Laura Stevenson, Baltimore trio Snail Mail and Boston’s Lilith played a show at Northeastern’s afterHours coffeehouse on a recent Monday evening. 

Another month, another show I use my old college ID to attend. For this round, Laura Stevenson (former Bomb the Music Industry! member and current Jeff Rosenstock associate) and her band headlined the night with a set of songs spanning her four solo LPs along with some tunes from a forthcoming new record. Lindsey Jordan’s Matador-signed project Snail Mail (who recently sold out a Great Scott show of their own) and locals Lilith (performing as a duo in light of an under-the-weather drummer) rounded out the bill.
