Trash Rabbit, Lady Pills and Edward Glen played O’Brien’s – 8/3

Three locals teamed up for a sweltering Tuesday night at OB’s.

I spent a fair amount of time at O’Brien’s last summer drinking Narragansetts on the “patio”/cement slab out back, one of the few places I felt comfortable going out during peak pandemic. Each time I walked through the venue itself, the stage was piled with gear and PA equipment and maybe an unplugged TV, so it was nice to finally see it occupied by bands again when I ventured over last week for this local triple bill.

I’ve covered Lady Pills plenty of times in these pages (and already a couple times since shows resumed earlier in the summer), but Auburndale’s Edward Glen and punk-y trio Trash Rabbit were new discoveries. All three sets were great, and you can scope out a gallery from the whole night below.
