Happy (?) December everyone. As the year that threatened to never end lurches toward its unholy conclusion I’ve been busying myself attempting to reconcile this passage of time by shaping my weird listening stats into a year-end list, but before that goes live, there’s room for another regular old weekly mix. Number 78 draws inspiration from some recent thrift bin record scores (that’d be Baez and George Winston), Chilean prog, some aesthetically pleasing jazz and the new Deafheaven live-in-studio record.
