Hello from the other side of Thanksgiving, friends. November’s fourth Thursday isn’t my favorite holiday, but it’s certainly the one with the most specific cozying-indoors vibes, which this week’s belated mix (mostly) reflects. Lots of mellow jazz to be had, including classics from Grant Green and Charles Lloyd and new stuff from the Nels Cline Singers, plus some goth forays, new Tombs and the recent solo live record from my favorite Thanksgiving artist Nick Cave.
