Noise Floor Radio Volume 40

Kvelertak in Cambridge, April 2016

Number 40 in a weekly series of Noise Floor-curated playlists.

This week’s mix tips off with the highly-recommenced new LP from Bambara, who tore down Great Scott just last night (more on that soon). Elsewhere is new stuff from Norwegian rippers Kvelertak, who just returned with a new vocalist for their first record in four years, and L.A.’s Spanish Love Songs, who featured on a stacked two-night, four-band run at The Sinclair this week alongside The Wonder Years, Free Throw and Pool Kids. Plus: some classics from The Strokes and Jawbreaker and the most (?) earworm-y cut from the 100 gecs record that I think I really like now, after some internal debate.
