Halloween is over, November is upon us, and so is a new mix spanning Isaac Hayes to Great Grandpa (whose Four of Arrows shares the new release spotlight with Omni this week). Elsewhere are Devo (consider them a bit of a Halloween hangover, since Nice Guys covered them at O’Brien’s on the 31st), Sleater-Kinney (who rolled through town recently), and the now dearly-departed Pains of Being Pure At Heart (pictured above at a Northeastern show that feels far longer than seven years ago).
