Another late one this week, but with good reason: I did spend four days inside the Mandalay Bay resort complex. The specter of the mighty Psycho Las Vegas festival weighs heavy on this week’s mix with cuts from The Black Angels, Carcass, Uncle Acid and Beach House, plus the stunning new single from Big Thief (pictured above at last year’s Pitchfork Fest), one of my favorites from the new Tarantino soundtrack, a quality Radiohead deep cut and a closing dose of Joni Mitchell.
