This week’s mix is bookended with some Silver Jews, naturally, plus Elliott Smith (who would’ve celebrated his 5oth this week), Big Star taking on The Beach Boys (which I heard for the first time last weekend in a truly magical and haunted bar in Western Mass), a cut from the new Slaughter Beach, Dog and some other odds and ends in the rotation this week.
