Happy Fourth everyone, we’re all gonna die! This week’s mix is a bit more thematic than usual, bookended by my two favorite Fourth songs and elsewhere focused on war crimes, day drinking, broken dreams and selling one’s soul to the devil, because it’s a weird time to be an American and feel like that’s worth celebrating. But fear not, there’s a bit of romance in there too, courtesy of a Silver Jews tune we might actually hear on tour this summer (!).
