Chelsea Wolfe played The Sinclair – 9/5
Gothic luminary Chelsea Wolfe played to a sold-out crowd at Cambridge’s Sinclair on Saturday night, supporting her intense new LP Abyss. As one might expect, it was a dramatic, moody performance that resulted in some strikingly spooky imagery. Wovenhand, the five-piece band led by singer-songwriter David Eugene Edwards, opened the show with a stirring set of electrified alt-country imbued with swirling psychedelic textures and post-punk rhythmic flourishes. A strong showing all around. Check out photos from the evening within.
