Kamasi Washington played The Sinclair – 8/20

Rising jazz luminary Kamasi Washington, fresh off the release of a breakthrough triple LP in The Epic, played to a packed Sinclair last month. The tenor saxophonist led his top-notch band through through a lengthy and adventurous setlist that touched upon his own record and the solo work of his compatriots, pulling off both with aplomb.
