January’s been a slow one for concerts, but actually a pretty robust release month for records. This week’s mix spotlights new ones from Pedro the Lion, Anxious, Boy Harsher and Boris, plus a live set from Anna von Hasswolff. Old standby Neil Young originally popped up on this one too, but the Zuma deep cuts are uh, off the table for the time being, replaced by a last-minute Stereolab substitution. Good for Neil. I don’t much like tacitly endorsing Spotify week-to-week either, but it does unfortunately remain the most straightforward (/legal) way to share a mix. Alas.
