Things are getting weird out there, folks. Usually some seasonal tunes are creeping their way into my mixes this time of year, but given that I keep forgetting it’s Christmas in four days and the world appears to be ending again, we’re working with a different mood this week. Vibe-y ambient records (Laraaji, Marisa Anderson/William Tyler, the new Nils Frahm comp) have been keeping me grounded as of late, alongside the fraught half-a-new-Wrens album from Aeon Station and some soothing jazz (R.I.P.
