Black Pyramid played O’Brien’s – 8/13

A heavy triple-threat of Western MA’s Black Pyramid and locals Blue Manic and Wrought Iron Hex took over OB’s on Friday night.

Sometimes, after a long week, the best thing for one’s ailing soul is to be bludgeoned into submission by riffs. O’Brien’s had the cure for another tumultuous one last Friday with the stomping, stoner-psych-doom stylings of Black Pyramid, Blue Manic and Wrought Iron Hex – all of whom churned out hypnotically headbanging sets.
