I’ve (obviously) been going to a lot of baseball

I’ve (obviously) been going to a lot of baseball games this year, including enduring all 27 innings of last month’s grim red sox-yankees series at fenway. those were not good games for us. but they did get me thinking existentially about the sport and the nature of fandom and why we keep showing up and where to find the joy in doing so when your team is playing disappointing baseball. this photo set is kind of about how this ongoing analog baseball project allows me to do that I suppose.
