Major Stars played O’Brien’s Pub – 3/19

Boston’s resident psychedelic warriors headlined O’Brien’s on a bill also featuring Dan Melchior and Honey Radar. 

“Ben,” you might be thinking, “it seems like you see this Majors Stars band like, very frequently. Doesn’t shooting the same crew abusing wah pedals and frying eardrums over and over again lead to diminishing returns?” To you, person who clearly has never seen a Major Stars show, I say, “of course not.” Every set remains a gift, and an opportunity to channel some new angle of photographing one of the great photogenic bands. I think this set winds up looking kind of…Lynchian?
